W.H.A.M. (We Have A Mission)

It can be hard sometimes to be a teen: bullying, school tests, friends, family, fights, busy schedules, feeling like you’re pulled in every direction.  We hope to provide some support along the way.  At Faith, you can find adults who care and will listen.  We also offer programs designed specifically for and by youth.

On Sundays, join our W.H.A.M. youth Sunday School class at 9:30 am for 9th-12th graders. Under the direction of the Youth Council and Laurie McCarron,  W.H.A.M.’s members will plan other meetings, retreats, and activities to provide a safe place to vent, stretch beyond your comfort zone, have a lot of fun, and live out your faith.  Questions are always welcome.

Scripture to live by :
Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind, regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?”  He said to him. “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the greatest and first commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”   Matthew 22:36-40
