Homelessness
Homelessness has a new meaning for me. It had faces, smiles, and names. I haven’t slept well since returning from our City Reach trip. I close my eyes and see new friends sleeping in parks, doorways, alcoves and other places. I move through my day worrying if they are cold, hungry and more importantly are they safe. In less than 24 hours these selfless people came into my life and made an impact like no one else has ever done. They live their lives one day ata time and to the best of their ability. They realize that GOD has made this part of their life plan. He’s blessed them with the ability and opportunity to share their experiences with us so that we can then go and spread their word to others. They give of themselves freely, willingly, and without question. I can’t thank my friends enough for what they’ve given me. My life is better now that they are a part of it.
